The files are sent over in DXF format. The steel rule is shipped to us in coils. These coils consist of several feet of rule measuring 2pt, 3pt, 4pt, 6pt, etc... and come in different heights. The rule is passed thru the automatic Bender where it is bent and cut into easy to use sections.
